Finance Assistant

**4 or 5 days per week - £28,000 - £33,000 pro-rata - Permanent Contract**

As the Finance Assistant you will play an important role in the success of our school through:

- Managing the sales and purchase ledger and preparing the weekly payment run
- Banking of cash and cheques
- Weekly bank reconciliations
- Assisting with the preparation of payroll
- Resolving Supplier Queries
- Completion of Termly Fee Billing
- Assisting with month end close
- Financial administration (deposits, childcare voucher reconciliations etc)
- School Trip administration
- Activities administration
- Direct Debit processing and liaising with our bureau
- Assisting with year end and audit process
- Other ad-hoc tasks as required by the Finance Manager and Bursar

Good Excel skills are essential as well as excellent communication skills and written English. Both will be tested at interview.

You will be entitled to 5 weeks of annual leave (pro-rata) (but leave must be taken during school holiday periods) and you will be auto-enrolled onto the occupational pension scheme.
