We are looking for an experienced communication professional to undertake a 12 month fixed term position in our Communications Team, creating and proofreading engaging materials for various teams in Estates Services across a variety of communication channels. You will have experience using website content management systems and producing content for newsletters, especially social media and websites. A keen eye for detail and a creative approach to communications is essential. Event management experience would be a plus.

This role is suitable for someone with experience in various disciplines, including communications, events and marketing.

This role could also be offered as a secondment opportunity.

**About the Role**

As a Communications Officer, you will work with various teams within Estates Service, especially Facilities Management, to provide high quality and engaging materials for different communication channels. You will join our friendly and supportive Communications team at Estates Services, reporting to the Communications Manager. You will be responsible for managing communication plans, creating and proofreading communication materials, managing internal events and producing engagement reports.

To succeed in this varied and interesting role, you will need to be someone who strives for excellence and enjoys providing high quality customer service. You will have excellent communication skills and be confident in communicating with members of our Senior Management team and broader staff with courtesy and politeness. You will also have a positive attitude and be comfortable when priorities suddenly need to change.
