Overview:
The role holder will be responsible to coordinate & deliver the ‘Empower Me’ Project providing support for Sandwell residents, aged 18+ who are in recovery from drugs and/or alcohol.

**Duties**:

- Pro-actively engage with people who use the Community Centre who are negatively impacted by their drug and/or alcohol use.
- Provide enhanced support to access recovery networks including adult substance misuse services and mutual aid, welfare advice and other support offered by the Community Centre or out in the wider community.
- Deliver recovery activities including cooking and social actions.
- Prepare quarterly reports using the monitoring templates.
- Support 30-40 people during the lifetime of the project.
- Attend project forum meetings.

**Skills**:

- Experience in community activities planning, delivery and monitoring.
- Able to connect, and work with voluntary and public sector partners.
- Able to motivate people and accept other people’s lifestyles.
- Able to monitor service delivery and write reports.

THIS IS A FIXED TERM ROLE UNTIL MARCH 25

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 18 per week
