Estimator (Uk)

Working in key manufacturing sector that has continued to develop with strong investment.

We are the leading privately owned UK manufacturer of flexible packaging to the food sector operating from new 'state of the art’ facilities in Cheriton, Folkestone and are looking to expand the successful team.

We are currently seeking an estimator to work within the commercial office with responsibility for estimating and preparing quotations.

You must be a good communicator and well organised individual with a high level of numeracy skills and a logical approach to tasks. You will have strong organisational skills and acumen backed up with competent use of IT especially using Microsoft EXCEL.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Generate estimates for quotations gained from a280thorough understanding of the business capability, validate order pricing and inflationary elements of material components to ensure full recovery. Oversee the New business development through creation of NPD (new product develop commercial specifications ) and ensure effective stock utilisation.

Suitable applicants will meet the following criteria:

- A desire to progress into management as part of a team
- Excellent analytical skills
- Demonstrate business reporting understanding reporting to a senior level
- Be able to demonstrate that you can work to a high standard with Microsoft EXCEL.
- Have experience in preparing analysis and understating od data within excel
