**_Reception Supervisor_**_ (Maternity Cover - 12 months)_

**MAIN JOB PURPOSE**: To provide an efficient and courteous service to guests at all times

This role requires natural professionalism to ensure a seamless experience and with a desire to create a relaxed environment for our guests. You will work closely with your team and the other departments to ensure all team members are knowledgeable in the day-to-day business, events, VIP’s and special requests and are able to trust their instincts and use their initiative when making decisions around our guests needs.

You will be a confident supervisor and communicator with the ability to build strong rapports with a range of departments. Our Reception Supervisor will continually develop their expertise, support and help to build a team who are able to deliver the unexpected and coach them to maximise revenue with upselling opportunities.

**_Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:_**
- To promote positive working relationships with the team members of the Rooms department, and with other departments such as Reservations, Finance, Housekeeping, and Maintenance.
- To perform duty manager shifts, which will involve being a first point of contact for associates and guests, communicating effectively between departments, and maintaining the health and safety of the daily operation.
- To actively promote a safe working environment on a day-to-day basis, ensuring associates are adhering to health and safety policies and procedures
- To be actively involved in all Rooms promotions, internally and externally and ensure good communication within the Hotel.
- To ensure the Front Office Team are fully aware and briefed of all promotional activity within the Food and Beverage outlets and actively informing guests on arrival.

**_What are we looking for?_**
- Experience in a related activity in the hospitality sector.
- Fluency in English, additional language would be a plus.
- Knowledge of the Opera system
