**Security Officer**

**Location**:LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort, Windsor, SL4 4AY

**Hours**:Fully Flexible; working up to 5 days out of 7, covering hours that can be between 07:00am -11:00pm on a rotational basis

Reporting to the Security Manager, our Security Officers work as part of our resort security team ensuring that LEGOLAND Windsor Resort is a safe and secure environment for our guests and staff.

The Security team have the opportunity to interact with guests of all ages, assisting them with their queries, recommending your favourite attraction for them to visit alongside helping them feel safe and secure while they are spending their days with us. You'll be a first point of contact for guests who may need your guidance or sometimes just your reassurance, so you'll be approachable, welcoming and keen to have those genuine, meaningful interactions.

Some of the elements of your role are listed below (though this list is not exhaustive)**:

- Carry out bag searches for guests entering the park
- You will be involved in the resort’s loss and crime prevention program and are encouraged to remain vigilant for any activities or persons that could be deemed as suspicious
- Monitor commercial units acting as a deterrent to theft and to ensure a quick response for both staff and guests with any reported accusations of theft

Qualifications & Experience:

- You will hold an SIA licence (minimum door supervisor)
- A First Aid at Work certificate is desirable
- You will have a passion for delivering excellent service, always having a bright smile regardless of the weather
- You will be an excellent communicator, always remaining professional and calm in the event of an incident that could cause disruption or panic

We are looking for Security Officers to join our team at the LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort. Our Resort is home to over 55 rides, live shows and attractions and is known the world over as being the ultimate LEGO® theme park experience for families with children aged 2-12 in the UK Set in 150 acres of parkland, LEGOLAND is home to not only the iconic theme park, but also offers two incredible LEGO themed Hotels plus the brand new Woodland Village opening in 2024 This role is based at the Windsor Resort site - which is pretty awesome if you ask us
