**Shift Pattern**:4 on 4 off

**Pay**: £13.00per hour

**Essential Skills**:

- Production and Studio Experience ( Desirable)
- Minimum 3 years supervisory experience
- Good understanding of Microsoft platforms
- Valid SIA licence.
- Valid Driving licence.
- A full 5 year working history to meet the BS 7858 screening requirements.
- To be able to communicate clearly both verbally and written.
- Excellent time management.
- Strong customer service.
- To be able to work on your own and as a part of a team.
- Able to work under pressure.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- To be the first point of contact for security personnel queries.
- To deal with all HR issues which may arise within the team.
- Carry out return to work interviews with every officer, for every period of absence.
- To monitor attendance and sickness levels, and report trends.
- To update Assignment Instructions, site documentation, ensure records are maintained & customer required standards.
- To assist with recruitment ensuring that staffing levels meet the agreed service levels, and that all recruitment is completed in a timely manner and in accordance with company policy. Ensuring that training courses are arranged to meet service level agreements when required.
- To assist in all security and emergencies drills when required and keep records of same.
- Ensure all personnel have undertaken the appropriate training and have been issued with an SIA licence or LDN to meet industry requirements.
- To provide administrative support for the appraisal and grievance procedures. Carry out disciplinary investigations if and when required.
- Ensure that all rostering is accurate in order to ensure no pay queries, no dropped shifts.
- Assist in the management of all direct and indirect costs to ensure these matches the requirements for the effective operational running of the contract.
- Ensure accuracy of all operational data; and regularly review and report on progress, highlighting any risk of significant variances as they arise, acting where needed.
- To ensure all Octaga health and safety policy is strictly adhered to.
- Ensuring understanding and demonstrable implementation of the Values of Integrity; Vigilance and Helpfulness
- To assist with adequate and appropriate training and ensure that any necessary advice and support is provided to make the team successful.
- Active steps to maintain communication; recognize achievement and develop the Octaga Community
- To be aware of, and (with the assistance of support functions) ensure all staff and officers on site comply with, all aspects of Octaga Policy and relevant legal and regulatory requirements; and can demonstrate appropriate levels of control.
- Leadership and strategic direction for the function, ranging from planning to motivational and promotional activities expounding the value of security, and promoting the good name and business interests of both Octaga Security Services and their clients.
- Routine line management and leadership of staff employed by Octaga Security Services. They will develop a strong staff rapport, being available to listen, to assist and to support wherever possible and to react appropriately and promptly to staff concerns and HR issues.
- Ensures the site documentation is maintained, accurate and up to date at all times.
- Ensures all members of staff are fully conversant and compliant with the site documentation and are signed by all members of the staff.
- Ensures all members of staff are full trained in all aspects of the security functions of the contract and full and detailed training records are complete and up to date at all times.
