Newstaff Employment Services is recruiting for a Transport Planner to join a growing haulage company based in Dunstable.

The purpose of the role is to arrange delivery of the customer’s product on time and in full using the most cost effective means possible, whilst complying with Transport Legislation and Health and Safety.

Essential Skills;
- Experience of working in a busy commercially orientated transport environment.
- Knowledge of drivers hours, tachogragh and WTD legislation.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement and reviewing skills.
- Good standard of education.
- IT literate.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety.
- Commercial understanding.
- Knowledge of transport systems.
- CPC Holder / Previous knowledge of Operators Licence undertakings.

This role will ideally suit a team player with good communication skills, who can work well under pressure and have good problem solving ability.

Monday to Friday 8am/8.30 am start to 5pm/5.30 pm finish, (flexible).
