In the role of Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. Working closely with teachers and school leadership, you will take on a diverse range of responsibilities, including delivering lessons, providing targeted support to students, and contributing to the overall development of a positive and inclusive learning environment. **Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)**

**Salary Scale: £85-£110**
**Contract Type: Full-time**

**Responsibilities of a Higher Level Teaching Assistant**:

- **Curriculum Delivery**: As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant you will lead and deliver lessons in the absence of the classroom teacher, ensuring the continued progress and engagement of students.
- ** Support and Differentiation**: Provide targeted support to individuals and groups of students, adapting teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
- ** Collaboration**: As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant you will work closely with teachers and school leaders to contribute to the planning and development of curriculum activities.
- ** Assessment and Reporting**: Assist in the assessment of student progress, providing valuable insights and feedback to contribute to ongoing improvement.
- ** Behavioral Support**: As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant you will implement positive behavior management strategies, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- ** Professional Development**: Engage in continuous professional development, staying informed about best practices and educational innovations.

**Qualifications and Skills of a Higher Level Teaching Assistant**:

- Qualified as HLTA or equivelant experience.
- Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant, with a demonstrated ability to lead lessons and support diverse learning needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, students, and parents.
- Initiative, adaptability, and a genuine passion for contributing to the educational success of students.
- Relevant qualifications or training in education or a related field.
