The post holder will support the implementation and delivery of the Skills for Care - 15 modular based Care Certificate award & the Your Workplace Essentials Certificate (YWEC). Ensuring that this delivered in compliance with the apprenticeship standards where this is appropriate

Contact learners either remotely or in the workplace and assessing them as part of their Care Certificate award to ensure the successful outcome in line with contractual job requirements and targets.

Conduct observations or professional discussions.

Efficient and effective operation of the assessment process in line with Apprentice Centre policy relating to quality and the requirements of the awarding body representatives.

Assist with development of the provision of the care certificate.

Promote apprenticeships and full cost recovery initiatives with employers including encouragement of progression routes. Maintain knowledge of funding streams and eligibility criteria.

Participate in and support the annual self-assessment process CPD.

Attend and participate in meetings within the Apprentice Centre, as required.

To take responsibility for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students with whom you come into contact.

Additional duties appropriate to the post as directed by the Apprentice Centre Functional Skills Assessor or Apprentice Manager. This will include exam invigilation and key marker for healthcare numeracy workbooks
