**Job Title: Clerical Assistant**

**Location: Marlborough Road Academy**

**Salary: Band 1 support, from £20,475.00 FTE**

**Hours: 37.5 hours per week TTO to start September 2023**

**Contract: Permanent, term time only**

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Clerical Assistant with great energy, passion and a relentless focus on high standards.

**We are looking for a Clerical Assistant who is**:

- Enthusiastic & dynamic, with a good understanding of the functions of a busy office
- NVQ or equivalent in Business Administration or a willingness to undertake relevant training.
- Able to communicate effectively and professionally with children, parents, visitors & staff;
- Self-motivated with an ability to work under pressure;
- Committed to putting children’s education at the centre of everything that happens in the school;
- Flexible and adaptable in a fast paced working environment;
- Be willing and able to contribute to the wider school community;

**About The School**

Marlborough Road Academy is part of the United Learning group of schools. We are a two form entry primary school situated in Higher Broughton in Salford. Being just a five minute journey from Manchester City Centre and the BBC MediaCity, we take advantage of this position to enhance children’s learning by arranging a variety of trips and visits.

Ours is a diverse community. Pupils have a wide range of backgrounds and 45 different languages are spoken.
