Ann’s Home Care are a family run company with over 27 years’ experience in the provision of quality care services in Northern Ireland.

**The Position**

We are seeking an experienced Housekeeper to join the team at our team at Moneymore Care Home. This is a full time position 36 hours per week, on a rotation shift pattern including weekends paying an hourly rate of £10.00 ph.

**Responsibilities of the Role**
- Oversee the maintenance of high standard cleanliness and tidiness, causing mínimal disruption to our service users and their care.
- Ensure that staff under your remit Use a variety of cleaning products paying particular attention to COSHH regulated products;
- Ensure that you and your team Health and Safety aware, to ensure the safety of our services users and colleagues. Understand your responsibilities under the Health & safety and fire safety Acts
- Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate in timely fashion in line with approved supplier lists
- Complete supervisions and inductions for staff in your department
- Ensure the facilities and all furnishings are clean and tidy at all times
- Report any defects, faults and or maintenance issues which may effect the people who use our service
- Monitor completion of all daily/weekly/monthly (dependent on service) work completion schedules
- Completion of paperwork in line with company policy
- Any other duty as specified by the management of the service to assist in ensuring the service runs as smoothly as possible

**Experience/Qualification**
- 1 years' Supervisory experience in a similar role is essential for this role
- Experience in a health care setting is preferred but not essential
