**Nursing Support Advisor (non-clinical) - Leeds based.**

This non-clinical role will primarily focus on providing administrative and logístical support to a team of busy Urology nurses across the UK, as part of one of the fastest growing and exciting healthcare companies in the marketplace.

As Nursing support Advisor, you will be responsible for providing a proficient and professional medical administration service to our team of busy field-based nurses and act as a point of contact for patient enquiries. Whilst offering outstanding customer service, this role will help remove a lot of the administrative burden on healthcare professionals that can slow them down from seeing those in need. This is a crucial new role, that is ideal for someone who has a keen desire to help patients and support healthcare professionals without the need for clinical experience.
**Role & Responsibilities**:
- To monitor the referrals inbox, adding referrals to our nurse system called MeDesk and tasking to the relevant nurse.
- To work with the customer care team as a liaison between them and the nurses to upload enquiries to MeDesk and send any clinical requests to the relevant nurse.
- To print and send out GP letters from the nurses via MeDesk.
- Taking customer calls and making call backs to help support the nurses and keep patients informed.
- Assist in coordinating and scheduling appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements for the Urology nursing team.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient data, ensuring compliance with confidentiality and data protection regulations.
- Prepare and distribute relevant documentation, reports, and correspondence as necessary.
- Assist in the organisation and management of departmental resources, including supplies and equipment.
- Help organise training and nurse onboarding.
**Requirements**:
- A background in healthcare administration, nursing, or a related field is preferred.
- Friendly and caring personality with a ‘can do’ attitude and demonstrable customer service experience.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to facilitate effective interaction with team members, patients, and stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
- An understanding of Urology or relevant clinical experience would be advantageous, but not essential.
- Ability to work from our Leeds head office Mon-Thurs with Fridays working from home.
- Familiar with MeDesk, RX web and/ or Netsuite would be advantageous but not essential as full training would be provided.

Salary will be dependent on experience, and we are happy to discuss this directly. In this role you will be office-based Monday - Thursday in Leeds (Free car parking) with the option to work from home on Fridays however we are open to discuss part-time or other flexible working options.
