Are you a HR policy and guidance expert looking to put your mark on our policies?
Due to an internal promotion, we have an exciting opportunity to join as our HR Policy and Performance Lead.
Reporting into the Head of People Operations, you’ll be responsible for updating existing and designing new HR policies and guidance for use across the BHF.
Focused on enhancing our service delivery to colleagues across the BHF, you’ll ensure all HR policies are easy to follow and in-line with best practice to support managers and colleagues to make informed decisions through their BHF employment journey.
Working collaboratively with key individuals within the team, you’ll focus on continuous improvement and our People Experience. You’ll support the Head of People Operations and other key stakeholders, by using data insight and feedback to identify trends, make recommendations and take action to improve our performance, HR service delivery, policies, and internal HR processes.
**Working arrangements**
This is a dual location role, with your working time split between your home and approximately once a week in our London office/Claygate office.
The use of our office spaces is driven in part by your role and the activities you need to do. This may vary from time to time, so you must be prepared to work in a flexible way to unlock your best work for our cause. Most of our colleagues on blended contracts can expect to spend some time in their office each week, on average.
**About you**
CIPD qualified, or equivalent experience, you’ll have a solid working knowledge of ACAS Codes of Practice and Employment Law.
You’ll have a strong employee relations background, as well as HR generalist knowledge. You will also have previous experience or good working knowledge of designing or inputting into employment policies.
A self-starter, motivated to achieve change, you’ll be resilient, curious and not afraid to challenge the norm. You’ll have a high-performance mindset, able to identify new and better ways of delivering HR services.
With strong communication skills, both written and verbal, you will be comfortable with interpreting data analysis, able to use the data to tell the story and have excellent attention to detail. You’ll work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure our policies are aligned with our People Experience Strategy as well as best practise and legally compliant.
