**Play Workers (Breakfast & After School Club)**

Dalkeith After School Club - Dalkeith, Midlothian

Dalkeith After School Club is a registered charity providing a breakfast, after school, and holiday club service to children up to the age of 14 in the Dalkeith area. We are run by a dedicated Board of volunteers. We are seeking to recruit dynamic, experienced and enthusiastic Play Worker to join our team.

You will work with children from age 4 to 14, providing them with an exciting programme of play opportunities. Knowledge of Care Inspectorate and National Care Standards is desirable. We are looking for people who have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, good IT skills.

You must be willing to work towards a relevant qualification in line with SSSC registration requirements.

The position is for a minimum of 27 hours per week. The salary is above the real living wage.

The successful applicant will be required to become a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme, register with the SSSC (Scottish Social Services Council), provide 2 written references, and must be eligible to work in the UK.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 27 per week
