Data Entry Clerk

BICS Laboratories is an independent materials testing Laboratory based in West Yorkshire. We are seeking to add a Data Entry Assistant to our busy, friendly team in Brighouse to play an important role in ensuring our technical testing data is accurately processed.

We provide training so you will be confident in our systems and processes and be able to identify issues with laboratory information which need to be escalated to the Technical Director. You will also benefit from ongoing support from your colleagues and Technical Director to continuously build your knowledge of our products.

Ideally you will have previous experience in a similar role, however this is not essential. We are seeking a person who has the following:

- Good keyboard skills and attention to detail
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work independently and under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Generate reports and perform data analysis as requested.
- A calm, professional approach
- Good communication skills
- Enter data into computer systems accurately and efficiently.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and outlook is essential.
- Experience in a data entry role.
- Assist with project coordination and tracking.
- Provide general clerical support to the office.
- Verify and correct data as needed. Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive

information.
- Generate reports and perform data analysis as requested.

You will be contracted to work Monday to Friday 35 hours per week may be more depending on work load.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract (8-12 months)

**Salary**: From £10.65 per hour
