**Early Years Practitioner - Full Time - Kingston**

We are a small boutique nursery looking for an Early Years Practitioner to join our family nursery.

Our nursery focuses on strongly encouraging children to gain confidence and independence and developing this through unique and thoughtful learning experiences and using the outdoor environment wherever possible. Our planning includes core areas of art, music, cooking, science, the outdoors and parent partnership. We are looking for an Early Years Practitioner to continue to embed this methodology within our day to day practice.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for children in accordance with the curriculum
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Provide individualized attention and support to each child
- Observe and assess children's progress and communicate with parents or guardians
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to create a positive learning environment
- Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, progress, and behavior
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care
- Follow all policies and procedures set forth by the organization

**Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to create engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with young children
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities effectively
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and be flexible in a dynamic work environment
- Knowledge of child health and safety regulations

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £24,300.00-£29,000.00 per year
