**Location**: Spennymoor, County Durham
**Salary**:Up to £19,968 per annum plus excellent benefits
**Contract**: Full Time and Permanent, part time also available
**Hours**: 40hrs per week

We are looking for friendly, caring and enthusiastic people to join our team of Support Workers in Spennymoor, County Durham.
**About Us**:
Oaklea’s Supported Living Project in Spennymoor, provides care and support to people with learning disabilities. In your role, you will support customers with a wide variety of needs and aspirations and work with our organisational values as we strive to encourageindependence.

Support Workers / Lifestyle Co-ordinators - **About the Role**:
You will be required to work closely with a small team, supporting male and female adults in their home who require support with personal care, meal preparation, accessing their local community and support with the hobbies and appointments.
Working hours will include days, nights and weekends - examples of support sessions are: (8am - 10.00pm/ 8.00am-3.00pm/ 3.00pm - 10.00pm/ 9.30pm - 8.00am)
Support Workers / Lifestyle Co-ordinators - **What We Need from You**:
You must be confident in communicating with people who may who may have challenges communicating with you.
You do not need to be experienced, but it is essential that you share our values. You must have a positive attitude and want to improve the lives of people with a learning disability. We will support you with progression opportunities throughout your careerwith us.
You will be required to complete the Care Certificate and work towards a Diploma in Health and Social Care Level 3, which is paid for by Oaklea. Mandatory training is also a requirement of your role.
