We are working in partnership to find a Distribution Manager to join our client who trade as an independent business within a wider group, meaning that fromthis role there are a whole host of opportunities among multiple businesses. This position is an integral part of the group and is responsible for providing the first class operational efficiency through the management of the warehouse.

Our client is offering a salary of £24000 per annum based on a 37.5 hour week Monday to Friday.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage day to day running of the warehouse
- Work with the group director to ensure continuous improvement in the warehouse
- Offer customer service to clients as required by calling and updating on orders
- Manage third party suppliers and ensure warehouse has everything required to deliver orders leave the warehouse on time.

**Requirements**:

- Good customer service skills
- A good understanding of warehouse management and an ability to take on various tasks as required to ensure all jobs get done
- Good people management skills
- Strong planning and organisation skills
- IT literate
