Resuscitation Officer

An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual as a Resuscitation Officer, to join a dedicated team within The Adult Resuscitation Service at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. There is availability for individuals looking for full or part time

hours.

The post holder will deliver in hospital cardiopulmonary resuscitation, immediate airway management and defibrillation skills training to multidisciplinary Trust staff in the emergency medical management of acutely ill adult patients. As such you will be expected to possess a recognised teaching qualification alongside expert teaching skills. You must also hold ALS instructor status and you will be expected to participate in external ALS courses around the region.

Applicants for this post require current resuscitation/critical care experience as there will be a clinical aspect to the role, attending cardiac arrest situations and medical emergencies throughout the Trust for all specialities. The post holder will also be expected to participate in auditing of cardiac arrest procedures, reported through Trust Governance
