This role is the face of our people, helping and supporting our people through effective management.

You will be the first point of contact for all HR & Training related topics, responsible for the HR deliverables to departments, will be the go to person for the full HR function. Effective organisational, communication and diplomacy skills are essential.

The HR Generalist is enthusiastic and hardworking, with experience in general HR along with outstanding attention to detail and communication skills.

To assist development and training of new staff to ensure adequate skills are in place in the event of holiday or absence, as well as consideration of improvements to currently established training protocols.

**Key HR Responsibilities**:

- Be a key ambassador for our vision, values and ethics, working with employees and managers to showcase best practice and make corrections when needed.
- First HR contact for all employee related questions or concerns.
- Provide accurate, consistent and proactive advice, guidance and support to employees and managers.
- Partner with managers or supervisors to conduct investigations and disciplinaries as needed.
- Develop programmes that enhance employee relations.
- Mediate where necessary between employees in conjunction with their managers.
- Manage long term sick and all associated processes.
- Provide mental health first aid when and where needed.
- Promote equality, health and safety within the company.
- Coach, develop and mentor the HR & Training Administrator assigning and managing appropriate workloads.

Manage the Occupational Health process, work with our occupational health provider to provide services in line with the Health Screening Policy including:

- Reviewing who needs tests carried out in compliance with the policy
- Booking the occupational health visits
- Key contact for the occupational health whilst onsite
- Managing the data entered into UKG
- Managing the occupational health budget

Manage the full recruitment process:

- Ensure job descriptions are up to date, accurate and in line with our vision, values, best practice and UK employment law.
- Post adverts which are clear, accurate and in line with our recruitment strategy.
- Work alongside the HR Administrator to effectively recruit the best talent possible utilising different recruitment processes.
- Manage the recruitment budget

Guardian of our environmental, social and governance principles (ESG) working with our partners at INW corporate and leaders at Bee Health to ensure compliance.
- Work with the HR Administrator on the community involvement program, ensuring we are having a positive impact on the local community.
- Create an employee activity, event program to aid awareness and team spirit around the social, health & wellness of our employees. (Breast cancer awareness or prostate cancer awareness months etc.)
- Promote equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organisation.

Integrated UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) system, be the champion of our UKG system in its entirety specifically:

- UKG Pro: Our database system, ensuring the accuracy of the data held, take ownership of the data entered and the continual development of the system. Update and keep fresh the “News and Information” and “Company Information” section keeping employees engaged with the documents held.
- UKG Dimensions: The timecard system, partner with the payroll team to ensure data accuracy and departmental compliance.
- UKG Recruiting / Performance Management & Appraisals: Work with the HR Administrator and department managers to ensure the performance and recruitment systems are used accurately and in its entirety to aid effective development and recruitment.
- Communication and development of UKG to teams: Utilise UKG trainings to be the system champion, attending regular webinars and keeping up to date with the system upgrades and changes.

Train all new managers and supervisors on the effective use of the system
Ensure employees are aware of where and how to access items on UKG

**Key Training Responsibilities**:
Provide training to employees as directed by the L&D, Executive Project Manager including:

- On the job, short take training within departments to employees

Induction / Orientation training with new hires, including second inductions held at their 60 day point.
Check in with all new hires on their 30, 60 and 90 day milestones.
- Help and assist the HR Administrator with the skills matrix.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
