**About the role**:
If you are looking for rewarding opportunity and working as part of a supportive team then this is the role for you. Based in our RS Local Nottingham Branch, working Monday - Friday, 8.00am - 4.30pm.

As a Branch Assistant you will divide your time between communicating effectively with our trade customers at our branch to help them find just what they need and keeping on top of our stock and inventory. Full training will be provided, but a can-do attitude is all that it takes to succeed in this role.

**Your day to day responsibilities will include**:

- Providing excellent customer service at our branch
- Helping identify our customers’ needs and requirements by building strong relationships
- Carrying out product search queries and identifying RS stock numbers using our catalogue
- Investigating and resolving customer issues from general and technical questions whilst advising on delivery options and dispatches
- Undertaking some warehouse and stock management picking and packing activities

**What we’re looking for**:

- Some experience in a Customer Service or Retail role
- Strong communication skills
- The ability to multi-task and put your attention to different areas of work throughout your day
- Computer literacy
- A friendly face and a can-do attitude
