De Rougemont Manor Hotel in Brentwood are recruiting for a food & beverage server to join their team. Working around 15-25 hours per week you will work shifts ranging from earliest start time of 11am, and latest finish time of 12am. Shift's are normally 5-8 hours. Within our restaurant we have a breakfast, afternoon tea, and dinner service. Our bar is also open 10am-11pm. Shifts could be in either the bar or restaurant.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet and seat restaurant guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Provide menu recommendations and upsell additional items to enhance the guest experience
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
- Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing any concerns or special requests promptly
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order preparation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
- Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately
- Collaborate with team members to provide excellent guest service
- Work behind the bar when required, preparing and serving drinks

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a restaurant/bar setting
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Basic math skills for handling payments and making change
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of culinary terminology and food preparation techniques is a plus

Note: Previous experience as a Beverage Server or in a similar role is preferred, but not required. Training will be provided.

The position is for around 15-25 hours and you would have 2 clear days off each week, working 3-5 days out of 7.

Due to licensing laws, the applicant must be over the age of 18 to serve alcohol.

Driving license would be required due to location, public transport is not an option.

Pay: £10.00-£12.00 per hour
