A Qualified Practice Accountant (ACA/ACCA) with a solid technical background and a talent for business advisory and consulting is required to join a growing and niche practice based on the Hampshire/Dorset border.

As Practice Manager you will be responsible for the management and supervision of the firm's audits (companies and charities) and ensuring accounts and tax compliance work as part of a collaborative team of problem solvers.
Responsibilities to include:

- Proactively assist in compliance management of a portfolio of clients
- Delivery of high value business advisory services
- Involvement in the setting and monitoring of KPIs to determine and steer the success of client businesses
- Work towards the firms development including networking and the identification of future business opportunities with new and existing clients
- Development and mentoring of junior team members
- Ad-hoc project delivery
- Maintaining up to date and relevant knowledge of the industry and national economic issues
- Managing the limited number of audits undertaken by the firm

This role would be well suited to an ACA or ACCA qualified accountant with a proven track record of working in a practice setting and experience of planning and delivering audit and advisory services to smaller, often entrepreneurial businesses. You will needto be proficient with a range of accounting systems including Xero, Sage, Quickbooks and Iris but also have strong financial modelling skills using Excel.
