We have exciting opportunity for a forward-thinking creative individual with an interest in social housing and homelessness issues.

This newly developed role will take the lead in maintain existing stakeholder relationships whilst identifying and developing new partnerships with the key focus being on increasing the provision of accommodation and support options within the Chesterfield area. This will include cross sector activity within the private rented sector, local authority landlords and other registered social housing providers.

The council has a strong history of working within an existing and extensive network of housing and support providers within Chesterfield and across Derbyshire.

This role will review and maximise the impact of these networks with a view to continuous service development and improvements for the benefits of our customers who often present with identified vulnerabilities and support needs.

You will be based within our Statutory Housing Solutions service and will form an essential part of an already high performing team delivering our homelessness responsibilities.

Excellent organisational and inter-personal skills are essential specifically the ability to influence and agree key aims and targets with stakeholders to the benefit of all parties and customers.

You will be expected to work both independently as part of a team.
