Winterhalter & Classeq are seeking a Credit Control Administrator to join our busy team in Knowlhill, Milton Keynes. The day-to-day duties of the Credit Control Administrator include maintaining an updating the consolidated invoice ledger, posting payments to debtors accounts, data input of Direct Debit initialisation run, compiling credit exposure and ledger reports for the credit controllers, processing incoming funds, producing monthly statements and sending dunning letters.

The Credit Control administrator is a key figure in supporting the financial function of a business, which requires the building and maintaining of strong relationships with the credit controllers to ensure the smooth running of their accounts.

**Role Dimension & Key Contacts:
- Working within a team of credit controllers reporting to the Credit Manager
- Working closely with colleagues across the business plus internal & external customers
- Administrating ledgers in excess of £5m

**The Credit Control administrator has an important role to play in supporting the financial function of our business by:
- Ensuring customers data is up to date
- Providing accurate management data
- Working closely alongside stakeholders to minimise risk whilst supporting business growth
- Supporting the evaluation of customer credit limits

**Essential skills, knowledge, and experience**:

- Proven experience within a busy Credit Control / Sales Ledger function within an administrative role
- Working knowledge of Credit reference agencies and associated technologies
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Computer literate - Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical skills and an eye for detail
- The ability to listen to customers and negotiate solutions

**Desirable skills, knowledge, and experience:
- Working knowledge of SAP
- Previous administration experience
- Results orientated
- Able to manage time and work under pressure to tight deadlines
- Able to manage the demands of numerous tasks
- High attention to detail
- Tenacious, persistent, and balanced
- Patient and with the ability to remain calm
- Open and enthusiastic approach whilst remaining firm and professional

**Hours**:

- Full time: 37.5 hours per week
- Set hours: Monday to Friday: 08:30 - 17:00
- Hybrid Based Role with flexibility to work from home (following training period)
