Hyde Housing works with housing and supporting vulnerable adults from a variety of backgrounds including mental health, physical health issues, substance misuse, homelessness, learning disabilities, offending backgrounds, domestic violence, care backgrounds etc.

Hyde housing provides accommodation for vulnerable adults with HMO properties across Birmingham.

The role of General Maintenance is vital for the safety of tenants and staff, good standards of housing and for the overall running of the company.

The responsibilities will include:

- Painting and decorating
- Must be able to complete certain level of carpentry work such as fitting and repairing fire doors, frames, hinges, replacing locks, door closures, smoke seal.
- Garden tidy ups and grass cutting
- Rubbish removal
- Furniture collecting and moving
- General diy such as: curtain poles, grouting, sealing, hanging frames and mirror, fitting cctv cameras
- Minor plumbing work
- Ensuring the safety and smooth operation of our properties
- Being an integral part of the central team

**Experience**:

- Experience working within General maintenance.
- DBS check.

Pay:

- £12- £17 per hour

Hours: part time/permanent

**Location**:
Birmingham, West Midlands

Licence:

- Driving licence (required)
