Are you passionate about supporting children with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) and SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs? **Position Overview**:
As a Teaching Assistant/Exam Invigilator, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with SEND and SEMH needs throughout their educational journey. Your responsibilities will include providing one-on-one support to students during exams, offering assistance with scribing, and ensuring that all exam procedures are followed accurately and fairly. Additionally, you will provide ongoing emotional and mental health support to students, helping them to overcome challenges and reach their full potential.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide one-on-one support to students with SEND and SEMH needs during GCSE exams.
- Assist students with scribing, ensuring that exam answers are accurately transcribed.
- Ensure that exam procedures are followed rigorously, maintaining a secure and fair testing environment.
- Provide emotional and mental health support to students, offering guidance and encouragement as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to create inclusive and supportive learning environments for all students.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND and SEMH needs is essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and support them effectively.
- Experience with exam invigilation and scribing is highly desirable.
- A compassionate and patient approach to supporting students with diverse needs.
- Relevant qualifications or training in education, special education, or a related field is advantageous.
