So with this in mind, we are proud to offer a free Monday to Friday Prescription Delivery Service to Castle Douglas and to other surrounding local communities

We now have a position available for a pharmacy delivery driver to join our local independent pharmacy.
Our aim is to prioritise the needs of the community above all else.
We want to provide Caste Douglas and the surrounding areas with a pharmacy delivery service which is much needed and long overdue.

**Responsibilities**:

- Deliver prescriptions to our patients safely, promptly with a professional yet friendly approach.
- Communicate with our patients in a friendly, warm and professional manner.
- Drive responsibly, adhere to traffic laws and represent Castle Chemist positively.
- Follow our Standard Operating Procedures regarding medication delivery.
- Take care of the Castle Chemist vehicle
- Perform heavy lifting as required.

**Requirements**:

- A Valid UK driving licence
- As are the first pharmacy to ever provide a free delivery service (Monday to Friday) for Castle Douglas, no previous pharmacy delivery experience is required.
- Previous delivery is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Professional, warm and friendly manner.
- Capable of heavy lifting tasks.
