Job Title: HGV Driver

We are seeking a skilled HGV Driver to join our team at Amazon - Driver Express UK. As a dedicated HGV Driver, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to strict safety and quality standards on and off the road.
  • Interact with customers and the general public in a positive and professional manner.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
  • Dedication and commitment to service demands.
Requirements:
  • Hold a valid C+E licence, Drivers card, DQC.
  • Understand and comply with tachograph and drivers' hours regulations.
  • No current Driver CPC Card suspension or revocation.
  • Respect for the vehicle/ trailers, and Cabs must be kept clean, litter free and ABIDE BY NO SMOKING Rules.
  • Full UK or Euro Driving Licence held for longer than 3 year and less than 6 penalty points with no active IN, DD, DR or TT codes.
  • Own a smartphone with 5GB of data, for use of a specific App for work coverage with route viewing and instructions.
  • Pre- Employment Background including a criminal Screening Program needs to be passed.
  • Must pass a physical and pre-employment drug screen.
  • Ability to operate and navigate a tractor trailer, also a GPS and use a specific App for Work Coverage.
  • Right to work in the UK and a fluency in English Language (preferred).
