What's that? A Manager role and you don't have to be a manager at the minute to go into it?... YEP
A client of mine is hiring a Test Manager, you'll be organised, know how to manage the workload and basically look after the Test Technicians and the vehicles they are working on.
You'll already come from a technical background. Be able to manage multiple vehicles going through testing. So you might be a Senior Technician and want to step up.
There will be a team of 5-7 you'd be managing day to day. This includes developing them where required. You'll lead by example here and you'll be happy to gets hands on when needed.
You'd be familiar with test houses. be able to support the Technicians with issues, support and be hands on where required and be a real people person.
We have no room for ego here. You need to be straight talking - be able to answer questions clearly, and if you don't know the answer, tell them you don't have the answer. Placing blame is not a game they play, solutions and how they get it rectified is howthey like to work. Basically - team work
