**What is the role?**

This is an exciting opportunity for an up-and-coming PR, marketing or journalism professional to join one of the North West’s most respected PR and communications consultancies.

**Where is the role based?**

**What are the day-to-day responsibilities?**
- Research and write content including news releases, blogs, newsletters and web / brochure copy
- Manage the creation and distribution of social media content for LinkedIn, X, Instagram and Facebook
- Manage social media management and advertising strategies on behalf of clients
- Engage with journalists and influencers to secure coverage in target media outlets
- Upload and manage content for client websites, including client newsrooms
- Work with design team to create visual content to support programmes
- Maintain distribution lists of publications, journalists, bloggers and other influencers
- Engage with clients and build strong client relationships
- Create and maintain client programme timetables and planners
- Create periodic client impact reports
- Be a passionate ambassador for Freshfield and help uphold our values

**What do I need to be successful?**
- Superb written and communication skills
- Background in creating compelling, professionally written content.
- You will be a modern marketer and have an excellent understanding of social media marketing principles across a variety of platforms
- Confident personality and able to deal with senior stakeholders
- A meticulous eye for detail and excellent organisational skills
- A source of fresh ideas
- Professional and mature in everything you do
- Strong work ethic

**What experience is needed?**
- Will also consider recent graduates with a PR, marketing or journalism degree or qualification.
