Conference Porter

**THE ROLE**

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic person to carry out conference hosting and porting duties.
- **MAIN DUTIES**_
- To maintain a neat, organized, and functional work environment
- To anticipate and ensure that all guest requests/needs are met.
- To handle any complaints and issues in an efficient and professional manner
- To demonstrate a high standard of personal presentation
- Technologically sound.
- To be proficient in AV, networking, and connectors for laptops, projectors/T.Vs.
- **CONFERENCE DUTIES**_
- To deliver & support food and beverage service during restaurant Breakfast peak times as and when required.
- Always provides high level of customer service to our guests during their meetings.
- Meet & greet all conference & meetings.
- To complete conference checklists
- To serve guests and provide excellent customer service.
- To treat all team members fairly and with respect.
- Prioritize tasks effectively to ensure most important tasks are completed on time.
- Seeks, listens, and responds to Guest feedback.
- Moving furniture between meeting spaces
- Following detailed room set up plans and timings.
- To deliver the guests requirements in terms of room facilities, food & beverage, ensuring all are met in accordance with SOPs.
- Assisting banqueting & nights team with conference set ups and turnarounds
- To be adaptable to last minute changes to meetings and timings.
- To have an understanding of company policy in regard to taking payments for additional items/services on the day.

**This role is mostly day shift work with shifts starting from 7am, usual days of work can be Tue-Sat.**

**Must be able to reliably commute to and from work with your own transport.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
