We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Audiology Assistant Technical Officer to join our team at Lewisham & Greenwich NHS Trust. The main role of the job will be to split time between administraive and reception work, and hearing aid work. In house training will be given in both these areas.

As an ATO, you will be expected to assist the admin team whenever necessary, be that in covering reception, booking appointments or managing waiting lists.

However, you will also be given in-house training in how to carry out hearing aid repairs, ear mould fittings and modifications and various other aspects of audiology. Ulimately, the plan will be for your to run a hearing aid repair clinics several time a week.

Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust is a community focused provider of local and acute care, providing high quality services to over one million people living across the London boroughs of Lewisham, Greenwich and Bexley. With a turnover of around £700 million, we provide services at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Woolwich, University Hospital Lewisham and a range of community settings in Lewisham. We also provide some services at Queen Mary’s Hospital in Sidcup.

We support staff in achieving a healthy work-life balance and are therefore able to offer flexible working arrangements, specifically, a 37.5 hours week compressed into four days if requested.
