Quality Inspector

**Main Purpose**:
**Main Responsibilities**:
You will be expected to provide support to the business on the following activities
- Complete quality and functional testing on Rail and Traffic products prior to despatch
- Test products in accordance to established quality procedures
- Complete Goods In quality inspections on supplied products ensuring compliance to drawings and specifications
- Accurately record all Quality Control test results
- Actively participate in the department supporting continual improvement
- Liaison with operational team members, warehouse and Production Team Leaders ensuring that appropriate inspection and testing is undertaken and technical documentation is controlled.

**Essential criteria**:
We are looking for an individual who has the following skills / competencies:

- Can read and interpret technical drawings
- GCSE Maths & English (Grade A-C)
- High level of accuracy with excellent attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Good level of computer literacy
- Competent in using measuring and test equipment (although training will be provided)
- Strong communication and organisational skills

**Desirable**
- HNC in Mechanical /Electrical / QA Engineering
