**THE ROLE**:
Pumpkin Patch Nurseries are recruiting a Nursery Administrator to join our existing team of friendly nursery staff. We are looking for an experienced, efficient, and proactive administrator to assist with a range of administrative tasks and help to develop the business. You must be able to manage a busy workload and prioritise tasks most urgent to the company and directors’ needs.

**MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Administration Support
- you will assist with the general administration across all Pumpkin Patch Nurseries according to need, and more specifically;
- you will work closely with the HR officer and Nursery Managers to ensure employee data is imputed accurately and efficiently on all systems.
- you will be responsible for the planning and organising of the training process for all Pumpkin Patch nurseries, ensuring evidence of certificates are filed and recorded appropriately and efficiently on our online system.
- you may be responsible for minute taking in meetings / interviews.
- to assist the HR Officer with ad-hoc duties according to need.

**Human Resources Support**:

- to support the HR officer with the pre-employment check process, which may include new starter ID appointments, on-boarding checks such as referencing and ensuring new starter documentation is received and recorded appropriately.
- To assistant with leaver and contractual change process; ensuring accurate information is processed, recorded, and logged accordingly.
- You may need to review and monitor staff absences and holiday.

**Essentials**:

- Prior experience in an administrative or equivalent role.
- Good general standard of education i.e., English and Maths GCSEs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to relay information to all staff in a prompt, concise and accurate way.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent organisation skills, accuracy, and attention to detail, ensuring work is consistent and of a high quality.
- Competent user of IT, including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to handle all tasks with privacy and confidentiality.
- Someone who is professional, approachable, and helpful.
- Someone who has a calm, cheery and happy manner to suit our values.
- Someone who can think creatively and adapt to changing circumstances.

**Desirable**:

- Previous HR administration experience
- Relevant qualification i.e., administration or HR qualifications
- Experience working in a nursery or school setting

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20-30 per week

**Salary**: Up to £11.00 per hour
