**You will join our Sustainability & Carbon department**

As our Net Zero Lead, you'll join our sustainability and carbon team within the Environment and Health business unit, consisting of nearly 250 professionals. We offer diverse services like carbon data management, sustainability and climate risk, natural capital, EHS management, impact assessment, and ESG due diligence to industrial, financial, commercial, property, and government clients. We're known for our collaborative and supportive approach, valuing initiative, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Building lasting client relationships throughout their net zero journey is a key focus for us.

Ramboll is an independent Danish enterprise with philanthropic obligations, the Ramboll Foundation allows us to take a longer-term view of investment, supporting research, education, employees, and humanitarian aid around the world through initiatives such as Ramboll’s Making a Difference network.

The net zero carbon team has strong technical support from within Ramboll particularly from the energy, engineering, buildings. This means Ramboll can not only propose decarbonisation solutions but also design and implement those solutions. Our comprehensive approach allows us to offer end-to-end services, ensuring that our proposed solutions are successfully executed and deliver the desired outcomes.

**Principal accountabilities**:
As the Net Zero Lead specializing in Carbon Accounting and Net Zero Strategy, you will play a pivotal role in advising organizations on GHG accounting, carbon reduction targets, and net zero strategies. Your expertise will also be sought after to provide strategic guidance and develop actionable plans for clients across various industries as well as support the growth of Ramboll services in the market. Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Establish carbon accounting processes for accurate emissions assessments and identifying reduction opportunities.
- Support clients' reporting obligations under recognized frameworks (e.g., GHG Protocol, CDP, GRI).
- Create customized strategies aligned with industry standards like Science-Based Targets and the Transition Pathway Initiative.
- Conduct feasibility studies, scenario analyses/option appraisals to identify and prioritize emission reduction measures.
- Integrate renewable energy, efficiency, and offsetting into sustainability or net zero strategies.
- Engage in industry forums
