As a leader in the aerospace industry, we have a number of exciting positions available right now, including a **Quality Inspector.**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Reporting major quality issues to Senior Quality team
- Working with inspection team to ensure inspection consistency.
- To provide inspection services (identified by the Production and Quality Managers)
- Support the planning of inspection activities based on agreed schedules with Materials Management and Production
- Assist in the creation of new procedures, techniques, tools etc
- Work to inspection schedules under general supervision
- Taking part in the First Article Inspection (FAI) process to ensure all products and updates are inspected
- Assist in training of quality and production team members
- Assist in development of statistical methods to reduce inspection
- Provides support to production solving basic problems
- Identifying non-conforming parts or products and escalating significant issues to Senior Quality team
- Notifying design of any errors/inconsistency in inspection requirements
- Raising non-conforming product reports
- Liaising with suppliers as appropriate
- Conduct Material Review Board activities (MRB)

Key Skills/ Experiences:

- Inspection experience gained in a manufacturing environment [essential]
- Able to interpret Engineering drawings
- Familiarity with quality disciplines including 8D reporting, 5 Whys and the completion of corrective action reports [essential]
- Good written and oral communication skills [essential
