**Salary: £10.98 per hour**

**About the role**:
Our department are looking for someone who is able to carry out safety inspection of pitches and changing facilities prior to use, remove any debris and report any areas of concern to referees and or Parks Service via emergency phone as appropriate. Ensure teams are allocated to the correct pitch and chalk fixtures on board, Respond to emergencies by telephoning for emergency services and opening barriers/gates for emergency vehicles.

You will be required to check for new or outstanding repairs, vandalism and graffiti on the interior and exterior of buildings on a weekly basis. Check for dripping taps and lights or heating left on unnecessarily. Record all findings on the Building Inspection Checklists.

**About you**:
We are looking for someone who is able to Able to work with the minimum of supervision as well as be able to think clearly and calmly in emergency situations.

You’ll have the opportunity to develop on your existing skills by dealing with a wide range of people in a polite, helpful and tactful manner.

We do ask that you have some experience of dealing with members of the public as well as Some cleaning experience.

Applicants for this role will need to be able to work regular weekends, as well as some evenings and bank holidays at various sites within the Borough.
