**Job Description**:
**Job Title: Assembly Operative**

**Location: Skelmersdale, WN8**

**Hourly rate and Hours of Work: £9.80 p/h, Monday to Thursday - 07:30 - 17:15, 39 hours paid**

**Contract: Temporary to Permanent**

**Start date: Immediate**

We are currently recruiting for several experienced Assembly Operatives for a well-established manufacturing client based in Skelmersdale.

**Responsibilities of an assembly operative will include**:

- Assembling medium size components.- Trimming, buffing, and polishing small parts.- Assembling components using nuts, bolts, or glue, with the use of light-duty hand tools.- Transporting materials using hand trucks or dollies.- Packing materials in shipping containers.- Identifying and troubleshooting problems during the assembly process and reporting them to supervisors.**The successful Assembly operative will hold the following skills and experience**:

- Previous production or assembly experience.- Ability to use small hand tools.- Excellent numeracy and communication skills.- Excellent attention to detail.
