**Job Title: Assembly Operative**
**Location: Skelmersdale, WN8**
**Hourly rate and Hours of Work: £10.75 p/h, Monday to Thursday - 07:30 - 17:15, 39 hours paid**
**Contract: Temporary to Permanent**
**Start date: 18.07.2023**
We are currently recruiting for several experienced Assembly Operatives for a well-established manufacturing client based in Skelmersdale.
**Responsibilities of an assembly operative will include**:
Assembling medium size components.
Trimming, buffing, and polishing small parts.
Assembling components using nuts, bolts, or glue, with the use of light-duty hand tools.
Transporting materials using hand trucks or dollies.
Packing materials in shipping containers.
Identifying and troubleshooting problems during the assembly process and reporting them to supervisors.
**The successful Assembly operative will hold the following skills and experience**:
Previous solid production or assembly experience.
Ability to use small hand tools.
Excellent numeracy and communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
