An exciting new opportunity has become available with one of the North West’s leading Engineering companies, who are looking to recruit an experienced **Robot Welder** to their award winning team over at their site based in **Rotherham**.

**What’s on offer?**
- £13.00 per hour
- 2 Shift rotation
- Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:00pm / Monday - Thursday 8:00pm - 6:00am

**What will you be doing as a Robot Welder?**
- Reviewing engineering drawings and reading job specifications to determine type of welding and material requirements
- Ensuring equipment parameters are set to the optimum to fully satisfy weld quality, integrity and WPS requirements
- Performing all functions involved in operating robotic welder, including programming, touch point, and operations corrections
- Promoting and encouraging best practice in welding and welding procedures, ensuring a safe working environment and complying with health and safety standards
- Performing basic MIG & TIG welding techniques as needed
- Reporting defective materials or questionable conditions to the Team Leader
- Performing prescribed preventative maintenance on equipment and machines
- Welding various joint configurations in all positions in a competent manner

**What do you need?**
- Previous Welding/Fabricating experience
- An understanding of Health and Safety legislation
- The ability to work efficiently with own initiative
- Strong communication skills at all levels

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £13.00 per hour
