Our client is looking for a **Senior Test Engineer.** This is a superb opportunity which offers progression and the chance to grown with their diverse and rapidly expanding business.

Based in their Surrey office, with regular travel to other offices within the UK and internationally as required. The Senior ATM Test Engineer will be responsible for testing self-service solutions and building a test automation capability for various Self-ServiceDevices.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Working within the Test Team on projects and deliverables within testing for various clients
- Produce Test documentation as per industry standards/methodologies
- Perform test execution
- Able to follow Defect Management approach.
- Undertake other testing or technology related tasks as may be reasonably required
- Ensure quality and resilience of all software delivered by the Development is achieved
- To work in conjunction with the Development teams to test work as it is being developed, working within agile and dev-ops approaches

**Experience**:

- Strong previous working experience within a testing delivery structure, demonstrating all core testing skills - requirements traceability, test design and scoping, scenario creation, test execution and test results and analysis
- Experience of the Defect Management lifecycle and a testers role within the Defect Management process, raise, reproduce, evidence defects correctly. Follow through defects to resolution, re-test, and closure according to various issues and problems thatmay be identified

Personal Experience Preferred
- Self Service Banking or ATM related previous experience in device-based testing, which can include scanning devices and any retail self service devices.
- Cards Testing experience
- Able to test and ensure the quality and resilience of all software delivered by the Development Team using industry standard test techniques and risk-based testing
- Proficient in use of Test Management tools such as ALM, JIRA, X-Ray, Confluence in support of test process and plans, reporting and metrics and automation tools for the support and execution of self-service testing such as Versatest, Iliad, ATMirage, ICCsimulator
- Ability to create test documentation as per industry standards - Test Plans, Test scenarios, requirements traceability matrix, test scripts, test completion reports and test reporting dashboards
- Ability to work within all functional test phases, System Test, System Integration Test, UAT in accordance with testing standards to deliver robust testing of systems prior to implementation
- Ability to estimate timescales and meet delivery deadlines effectively and accurately
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, whilst prioritising tasks and activities
- Can show ability to work on your own when needed, whilst maintaining contact andintegration with the wider development team and key business functions
- Ability to contribute to the development of the business, technically and culturally
- Ability to remain calm in challenging situations, managing expectations, and maintaining
- Problem solver who can demonstrate initiative

**_Desirable_**
- Understanding of Self-Service End to End transaction processing
- Base 24 ATM Experience and industry standard NDC messaging
- Understanding of EMV message formats and ICC chip transactions
- Knowledge of ISO 8583 message standards - financial and non-financial messages and format
- POS experience
- Non-Functional testing, specifically OAT including cloud-based hosting, resilience, high availability, backup/restore and storage/archiving
- Experience of automation testing - converting manual scope into automation regression, creating and maintenance of automation test scope
