**Caretaker (with immediate effect)**

**30 hrs per week 52weeks per year**

**Salary:

- £16874 (FTE £20812)**

We are seeking to appoint a caretaker to look after our school and join our enthusiastic and committed team. Your main areas of responsibility will be:

- **Security and key holding duties including attending call outs in emergencies and locking up each night**:

- **Proactive general repairs and maintenance & reporting other defects to HCC reactive maintenance**:

- **Undertaking and completion of required health & safety checks including fire checks, legionella, asbestos and any other required/statutory checks**:

- **Overseeing the cleaning staff and completing any cleaning tasks as necessary.**

The successful applicant will need to have a wide variety of practical skills and a good awareness of health and safety standards and procedures and must be prepared to undertake any necessary training courses. They must be able to work under their own initiative and happy to work alone at times.

Visits to the school are warmly welcomed

**Salary**: £16,874.00 per year
