Sarah McKenna HR are pleased to be partnering with a national charity in their search for a HRIS Systems Lead, based at their Head Office in Bowburn.

Our client is seeking an experienced HRIS Lead to join their growing People Experience Team, to oversee the data and systems function as well as manage and develop the HR information system (SAGE People) to support the employee lifecycle. Working closely with the wider people team as well as mangers across the business you will be responsible for managing a complex workload and be able to accurately report on a wide range of HR metrics

The focus of this role will be to:

- Develop and maintain the HR information management system (SAGE People), including building workflows in line with policies and procedures, system reports, and system guides.
- Responsibility for data management within HR systems, including quality checks and data cleansing, ensuring accurate data recording and reporting is in line with KPIs.
- Provide expert advice and deliver training on the system to the wider organisation on self service functions and developments.
- Develop reporting processes and solutions, and support with data analysis to provide accurate and meaningful people data.

As the HRIS Lead, you will need to be able to demonstrate the following.
- Ability to communicate and work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
- Contribute toward and suggest system improvements and efficiencies.
- Work with people related data to provide reports for the wider business.
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to use complex coding.
- Provide expert advice and comprehensive training on the system.
- Experience handling and prioritising a complex workload.

To be successful in this role you will have the following experience/skills:

- Knowledge of working with information systems, workflows and building reports.
- Experience of working with system generated data sets.
- Experience of leading on system developments/improvements.

Additional experience that would be highly advantageous but not essential
- Previous experience within a People function and understanding of people policies and processes.
- Experience of SAGE people.
- Previous experience of managing a team.
