Production Operative

Uniwire is one of the UK's leading manufacturers and distributors of wire fencing products. We are a family business based just outside of Tetbury who manufacture a wide range of fencing products, predominantly for the agricultural market.

For immediate start, we are looking for someone to assist us in our busy factory.

Responsibilities and Duties:

- Operating specialist machinery to produce various fencing products to our high quality standards.
- Carry out routine maintenance and setting of machinery.
- Ensuring the machines you are using are in good working order.
- Maintain a clean working area and environment.
- Some heavy lifting will be involved.

Key skills:

- Must have a flexible attitude and be prepared to carry out other duties within the factory as required.
- Have good attention to detail.
- Work as a member of a team.
- Have a mechanical aptitude and a general understanding of 'how things work'.
- Own transport essential due to location.
- Have good communication skills.
- Must be reliable and punctual.

Hours of work are 8am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday, with an hour of unpaid breaks split throughout the day.

£11.00 per hour plus production bonus of £40 per week.

All employees are entitled to 28days holiday per year including bank holidays. You would also be entitled to be enrolled in our company pension scheme.
