Based at Hinkley Point Power Station in Somerset this role will develop and implement the Industrial Relations Strategy for our largest UK construction project. This is an excellent opportunity to utilise your strategic mindset to influence and be truly autonomousin making a positive impact on HR/IR for a prestigious project, which is vital to creating more sustainable energy for over 6 million homes in the UK.
- Proactively manage Industrial Relations for site and field based employees;
- Develop the Industrial Relations Strategy for UK site and field based client groups;
- First point of contact for HR matters for the client group, including but not limited to pay and benefits, development, grievances, welfare issues, HR policy adherence, holiday management, WTR etc;
- Support the staffing plan and headcount ramp-up of the client group. Working effectively with Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards and other stakeholders to attract and retain suitable employees.
- Ensure appropriate induction and onboarding processes are in place to allow effective integration for new team members;
- Provide expert intervention for preventing and resolving ER matters
- Manage the delegation and mobilisation of UK based and inpatriate employees for Steam Power UK industrial sites
- Coach People Leaders on the handling of industrial disputes and grievances, ensuring full compliance to the respective legislation and agreements; including

- Ideally CIPD qualified or member of an industrial council.
