**Post 1**: Consultant Psychologist - Lead for Psychological Therapies - Community CAMHS (under 18s service)

**Post 2**: Consultant Psychologist - Lead for Psychological Therapies - Community Young Adult mental health service (18 to 25)

The post holders will be welcome members of the psychology workforce, both locally and within the Trust. We are particularly keen to embed research into clinical practice and will support the successful applicant to pursue research activities.

These are both challenging and exciting times, in which we are redeveloping how we deliver mental health services in Suffolk. To assist us with this development we need senior psychologists to assist in leading and developing our services. We are striving to develop our care model to be more aligned with the needs of the local communities. This has created opportunities for, not only to recognise and consolidate what we are doing well, but also to drive creativity to radically change service delivery. These changes are responding to the changing needs of local communities, with the aim of embedding mental health services within the community and truly bringing the expertise to where it is needed.

The Trust has been undergoing significant transformation to improve its services and improve the key areas of responsiveness, safety, effectiveness, caring and well led. There have been challenges with improving services, so we are working closely with our partners and regulators to utilise this opportunity to rethink and redesign services.

It is important to us that we recognise the need for people to have a good balance between work and other commitments and as such we would love to have a conversation with anyone wanting to consider this role as a job share or to work on less than fulltime or flexible hours.

We support staff development with Leadership training opportunities through our Leadership Academy with the Core Leaders Induction programme; this provides information, support and guidance for anyone who is a new manager in NSFT. Plus supporting staff to access modular and Leadership Programmes at different academic levels to develop.

Why work for us? We have challenges as a Trust, but we have ambitious aspirations, are pushing ahead with exciting transformation work and we need dedicated individuals to support us on our journey. We have strong, established professional networks coupled with an exceptional leadership team who will ensure you are truly cared for and cared about.
