Marina Developments Ltd is the UK’s leading Marina operator. Hamble Point Marina is situated at the top of the River Hamble.

To help us deliver exceptional service we are seeking to recruit a **Marina Operative** to join the team working at MDL.

You will be passionate about providing the best possible levels of customer service and will put the customer’s needs first every time. You will deliver an outstanding customer experience; exceeding expectations on a daily basis. This is a full time position working a 4 on 4 off, 12 hour shift pattern 7am to 7pm.

You will be flexible towards work and will be expected to cover both dry stack and boat yard.

**The prime tasks and responsibilities for this role are**:

- Carry out Dockmaster duties around the marina.
- Complete all daily, weekly and monthly assigned tasks as required.
- To maintain a clean, tidy site at all times.
- To carry out general maintenance around the site.
- To ensure the highest levels of customer service and experience at all times.
- Deliver operational process and systems in accordance with the quality management systems of the MDL Way.
- Provide cover and assistance to the Drystack operations as and when required.

- Professional, proactive, positive attitude and a provider of first class customer service.
- Flexible and self motivated.
- Team player.
- Self motivated and able to work without supervision.
- Have a customer focused philosophy permeating all your actions.
- Well presented and take a pride in your surroundings.

**Required Experience**:

- Ability to swim.

**Desired Experience**:

- Marina/boatyard operational experience.

**Salary**: From £21,194.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)
- customer service: 1 year (preferred)
