Admissions Host

Chester Race Company are recruiting Admissions Hosts for the 2024 race season at Chester Racecourse This role is exciting and varied, you will be the welcoming face of the brand, often being the first (and lasting) impression our guests have of Chester Racecourse.

If successful, you will be supporting the guest experience team in providing a memorable experience to all our guests, creating a day of escapism. You will play a pivotal part in our award-winning success through providing a world class level of service.

**Duties of our** Admissions Hosts can include:
- Greeting guests as they arrive at the gate
- Engaging and welcoming guests, providing a genuine and memorable hello
- Scanning tickets using hand-held machines
- Being proactive and approaching guests to ensure they have their tickets ready
- Working efficiently to get people through as quickly as possible

**The successful Admission Host **will have the following skills**:

- A genuine passion and commitment for providing a high level of guest experience
- Positive, approachable, and confident demeanour is a must
- Ability to put yourself out there to approach guests
- Ensure guests get through the gates as efficiently as possible
- Problem solving skills and good time management
- Good communication skills

**Our rates of pay** _(inclusive of holiday pay) _

16-17 £8.97 per hour

18+ £13.15 per hour

**Our shifts vary** You are in control of the hours you work via our staff app. We would however look for commitment across the racing calendar at Chester Racecourse.

**Join us in time to work at BOODLES MAY FESTIVAL 8th to 10th May 2024** Our biggest and best race meeting of the calendar year at Chester Racecourse. With 3 race days in a row this is a great chance to get lots of experience in the role and have a real impact on the successful delivery of our prestigious race days.
